Moody Manor Foundation is pleased to offer Respite Care for female individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) or Brain related diseases and disease processes within our medical capacities. The Respite Care candidate will be welcomed for a period of not less than one week and not more than 90 days. Our mission, standards of care and policies will apply to the Respite Care candidate as true to our Residents.
Respite Care Residents will be entitled to participate in all structured activities and recreational activities offered to permanent Residents. The mission of Moody Manor will assist in the Respite Care Candidate Plan of Care. Each Respite Resident will have their own bedroom and the room will be furnished by Moody Manor. Respite Care Residents will be expected to provide their own medications, personal care items and clothing.
Cost will be based upon level of Nursing Care and personal needs; please contact us for rates.
Moody Manor's commitment to personalized and individualized "hands on" care, communication amoung Caregiver disciplines and exceeding expectations for personalized care needs will be foremost in the Respite Care Candidate Plan of Care. |

| - Private bedroom for each Resident |
| - ADA compliant bathrooms, closets, desks and dining room |
| - Two (2) Residents per one (1) Caregiver ratios from 8:00am to 8:00pm to assure personal and individualized Resident Care needs are met and exceeded |
| - Daily light housekeeping and laundry services |
| - Transportation and accompaniment of a Registered Nurse for all Physician visits to assure Physician orders and plan of care is understood, approved by Guardian and carried out accordingly. |
| - Multidisciplinary Team communication with Guardians in all phases of daily progress. |
| - State of the Art, continuously monitored Fire Alarm system, overhead sprinkler system and life safety equipment exceeding NFPA requirements |
| - Emergency Call bell system in all Resident bathrooms for added safety |
| - Weekly Massage Therapy and Group Aerobics with a certified Personal Trainer |
| - Quarterly Registered Dietician visits to assure nutritional needs are optimized for rehabilitation needs |
| - Quality standards for all State, County and City regulatory agencies meet and exceed expectations |
Nursing Care: |
| - 24-Hour Nursing Care and supervision provided to assure the highest quality care, safety and comfort measures for all Residents are maintained and exceeded. |
| - Director of Nursing / Administrator on call 24-hours a day |
| - 24-Hour video monitoring |
| - Assistance with all phases of Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) as appropriate to the level of care required by each individual Residents to include: Bathing, Hygiene, Self-care assistance, Ambulation, continuance of personal rehabilitative exercises as prescribed by all Therapist, assistance with meals, cognatative stimulation and re-training and a Resident focused Care Plan specific to each Residents individual needs and interests |
| - Group setting for all meals and with assistance as required, three (3) full Registered Dietician approved meals and snack daily modified for each Residents specific medical, individual and cultural preferences |
| - Self administration of medications with Nursing Supervision to full Nursing administration according to Residents specific needs |
| - Daily Group Activities to promote support and enhanced psychosocial skills, decision making and cognatative re-training activities |
| - Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy services available to provide for continued rehabilitation and meeting of each Residents specific individual needs and goals |
| - Group Art Therapy to enhance feelings of self expression and decision making twice a month |
| - Caregiver continuance of Therapy directed goals and encouragement of independent decision making with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) |
| - Individualized care according to each Residents unique needs due to two (2) Resident to one (1) Caregiver ratios |
