March 1990 : Moody Manor was incorporated in the State of Florida and received non-profit (501c3) status from the Internal Revenue Service
June 6, 1991 : Moody Manor opened its doors with 3 residents and 7 staff members
June 1992 : 1st Annual Brain Injury Association of Florida Survivors Jamboree
June 1993 : 2nd Annual Brain Injury Association of Florida Survivors Jamboree
June 1994 : 3rd Annual Brain Injury Association of Florida Survivors Jamboree
1994 : Moody Manor was Accredited by the Joint Commission Accreditation of Health Care Organization (JCAHO)
April 13, 1995 : Residents of Moody Manor attended the Billy Joel & Elton John concert at Joe Robbie Stadium.
June 1995 : 4th Annual Brain Injury Association of Florida Survivors Jamboree
January 1996 :
- Foundation awarded first full scholarship for residency at Moody Manor
- 1st Volunteer Day which consisted of 18 volunteers
June 1996 : 5th Annual Brain Injury Association of Florida Survivors Jamboree
October 1996 : Friends Campaign started
1997 (6th year of operation) :
- Moody Manor operated at full capacity with a waiting list
- Moody Manor renewed its scholarship with the same resident
January 6, 1997 : Moody Manor was acknowledged in an Article “A Home of Hope” in the Herald Broward Local Section
